TERMS & CONDITIONS

Welcome to SOLO Hair Design. We aim to provide exceptional service in a professional, welcoming environment. By booking an appointment with us, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

1. Service Requirements

1.1 Colour Services

  • All colour services must be accompanied by either a cut & blow dry or a blow dry.
  • We do not offer stand-alone colour applications without a finishing service.

1.2 Highlight, Foil & Balayage Services

  • A toner is always required for these services to achieve the correct shade and finish.
  • A treatment is highly recommended to maintain hair health after lightening.
  • These services must be accompanied by a cut & blow dry or a blow dry.

 

2. Cancellations & No-Shows

  • Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the appointment will not incur any charge.
  • Cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment will be charged the full service price.
  • If you do not attend your appointment without notice (no-show), the full service price will apply and may need to be paid before future bookings are accepted.

 

3. Deposits 

  • A deposit may be required for long or high-value appointments (such as bridal, colour corrections, or multiple services).
  • Deposits are non-refundable if cancellation occurs within 24 hours of the appointment.

 

4. Pricing

  • All prices are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD).
  • Prices may vary depending on hair length, thickness, or additional product use.
  • We will confirm the final cost during our consultation and before starting your service.

 

5. Personal Belongings

We take no responsibility for loss or damage to personal belongings during your visit.

 

6. Satisfaction Guarantee

  • If you are not satisfied with your hair, please contact us within 7 days of your appointment so we can assess and make adjustments if necessary.
  • Adjustments are offered at the salon’s discretion and may not be free of charge if the change is unrelated to the original agreed style/colour.

 

7. On-Location Services

  • Travel fees may apply for mobile and on-location bookings, depending on location and timing.
  • The same cancellation and deposit policies apply to on-location services.

 

8. Health & Safety

  • Please inform us of any allergies, medical conditions, or recent hair treatments (including home colouring) before your appointment.
  • We reserve the right to refuse a service if we believe it may compromise your hair health or safety.

 

9. Changes to Terms & Conditions

We may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The latest version will always be available on our website.
